About the Item

Antique or Vintage British Alliance made ca.1930s - 1950s Ring in solid 18K Yellow Gold with openwork crown and clusters in Platinum. Partially fragmented British hallmarks, 18K, maker's logo, stamped combination 0.45 (ctw of Diamonds) and 076 (likely 0.76 grams of Platinum in this design). Year and city hallmarks are not clear to read. Five old European diamond cut Diamonds: central x Ø 3.5 mm x 2.3mm deep / 0.16 ct. , two on flanks from central x Ø 3mm / 0.14ct , two on the corners x Ø 2 mm /0.04ct . Total: ca. 0.45ctw Color G,H / VS ; Size: US Ø 7.75 / 17.97 mm, can be sized for additional payment. Weight: 3.5 gr. In fine used condition. Gemstones may often look differently in different light and weather conditions and time of the day, both indoors and outdoors. Stones of the rings photographed alone may look a bit differently when on hand because your finger makes the back side of the stone closed and light no longer can go through and the color becomes different. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described. Unfortunately Internet sales do not allow us to see the items in person before we get them by post. CUSTOM WORK : About Resizing : Resizing of rings can be done on request.The work will be done by experienced professional jeweler. It is often difficult or impossible to get an accurate characteristics of the weight , color and nature of inclusions without removing the stones from the settings to be weighed and examined and doing that may damage the piece.
