About the Item
A Burmese star ruby and diamond cluster ring, the oval cabochon star ruby weighing 4.67cts accompanied by Gemlab certificate stating to be untreated and of Burmese origin, with brilliant and carré-cut diamond cluster surround, the diamonds estimated to weigh ½ carat in total, all set to a platinum mount with D-section shank, stamped platinum, circa 1950, the head measuring approximately 1.4x1.9cm, finger size J, gross weight 6.6 grams.
This ring is in very good condition.
An eye-catching ruby and diamond cluster ring. The central star ruby has an enchanting fuchsia colour, and the central asterism is highlighted by the cluster of diamonds that surround it. The diamonds are lively and set to platinum, adding a luxurious surround to the star ruby. This piece comes from the collection of Bentley
