About the Item
An early 20th Century diamond and pink sapphire ring, the old mine-cut diamond weighing 1 carat of K colour and SI2 clarity, accompanied by De Beers Grading Report, the pink sapphire weighing 1.08 carats, accompanied by GCS Report stating to be of Sri Lankan origin with no indication of heating, both claw set vertically to a platinum mount with diamond set split foliate shoulders, bearing Austrian platinum import mark, circa 1930, the head measuring 1.3x1.5cm, finger size M 1/2, gross weight 4.05 gram.
This vintage ring is in excellent condition.
A feminine early twentieth century ring. This ring features two central stones, a lovely pink sapphire, and a scintillating diamond. The stones are mounted up finger and set between diamond-set leaf shaped shoulders of a naturalistic design. This ring is a gorgeous example of a ‘moi et toi’ or ‘me and you’ ring, with the stones representing a couple. This piece comes from the extensive antique ring collection of Bentley
