About the Item
Dating to the Edwardian period is this beautiful navette ring. Taking centre stage, a sparkling 0.85 carat old cut diamond is rub over set into platinum. The diamond has a colour of J and clarity of VS1. Set above and below a pair of Trillion cut sapphires add wonderful contrast to the piece. Each sapphire weighs 0.50 carat and is also rub over set. Intricate hand crafted metalwork surrounds the centre three stones, embellished with a further 0.06 carat in rose cut diamonds. The platinum head of the ring sits upon a basket and band of 18 carat yellow gold in the classic Edwardian style, completing the piece perfectly.
