About the Item
This gorgeous Edwardian ring features a ruby at its centre with two diamond halos surrounding it. The oval cut central ruby is 1.30 carat, natural stone and rub over set into 18 carat. The closest of the two diamond halos features 14 old cut diamonds totalling 0.56 carat. The furthest halo has 26 rose cut diamonds totalling 0.26 carat. All the diamonds match in quality at G in colour and VS in clarity. The setting work of these two halos has been crafted from platinum, which was typical of the age and really highlights the whiteness of the diamonds. The gallery work and band are made from 18 carat yellow gold.
