This circa 1910s Edwardian diamond and sapphire cocktail ring doesn't just sparkle - it tells a story.
Crafted in 18 carat yellow gold and topped with silver, it showcases the kind of meticulous detail that defined early 20th century jewellery.
The piece rises upwards like a miniature chandelier. At the top sits a bright old mine cut diamond, followed by waved sections beautifully set with rose cut diamonds. Nestled between them is a tiny pop of colour - a deep blue square sapphire, set perfectly at the heart of the design. It's a subtle detail, but one that brings the whole piece to life, adding contrast and a touch of regal charm.
Below this, the ring opens out into an impressive cluster of 6 larger old cut diamonds, each framed in delicate silver settings that highlight their distinctive cuts and sparkle, with an additional small rose cut diamond delicately placed between the larger stones.
Together, the old cut diamonds have a total approximate combined weight of 1.05ct, and the rose cut diamonds total approximately 0.15ct.
The piece flows like a cascade and is enhanced by subtle millgrain edging, giving this statement ring a substantial yet delicate feel, beautifully eye catching from every angle.
