About the Item
An Edwardian sapphire and diamond ring, the oval faceted sapphire estimated to weigh 1.2 carats, vertically set between two old-cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.50 carats each, to old-cut diamond-set scroll designed shoulders, all set in platinum and yellow gold, circa 1905, finger size N, gross weight 4.6 grams.
This wonderful ring embodies Belle Epoque splendour. Made in around 1905, this ring comes from the collection of Bentley
Skinner, Jewellers by Royal Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III. This ring features a wonderful central sapphire in a deep, bright blue, surrounded by four lovely and lively diamonds. The delicate scroll motif of the ring shank is classically Belle Epoque. This is an elegant and romantic piece and would make a fabulously unique engagement ring.
