This simply exquisite antique Georgian ring is 1790/1810 ca. – English origin
A rare example of memorial jewelry in use during Georgian period as keeper of remembrance or mourning
It prizes the glorious Georgian workmanship with a flat crown boasting a selection of antique cut Diamonds, pretty decoration on shoulders and a glass covered locket panel containing hair work to the reverse
It has been hand crafted as unique during the time, it is 18 KT yellow gold
Diamonds are 5 table cut , larger set in the middle, and 10 rose cut diamonds, bright and sparkly, in a combination between champagne and white colour, all original to the ring, approx 1.30 Ct. altogether
Crown is 12 x 17 mm (h. x w.) – locket window is 7 mm. With 4.4 grams gross weigh
Very good condition throughout
Hard to come across this type of rings are a prize to get these days especially in this great wearable condition
