About the Item
A vintage emerald and diamond cluster ring in 18 karat yellow gold, circa 1915.
This exceptional ring is set to its centre with a square cut emerald of 1.40cts approximately with an accompanying certificate from The Gemmological Laboratory of Bond Street, London stating that it is of Columbian origin with moderate clarity enhancement.
The centre stone emerald is surrounded by a cluster of old cut diamonds and finished with diamond set shoulders totalling 2.60cts approximately all in fine claw settings, assessed as J colour, VS2 clarity.
Stamped to the outside of the yellow gold band with assay marks for France.
The ring is currently a UK finger size L (USA size 5 3/4) but this can be resized for a perfect fit.
The ring is accompanied by a complimentary valuation for insurance and authenticity.
Condition Overall the condition of the ring is very good, with some slight abrasions to the surface of the gold, in keeping with its general age.
