About the Item
Very fine large natural star sapphire weighing exactly 11.74 cts. This stone has a fine "star'., The color is a bright blue and the stone lacks inclusions that are distracting to the eye. This oval stone, held by four long well shaped prongs, has a wonderful medium deep blue color. The distinct star is created naturally, in the sapphire crystal, of needle like silk inclusions which form the star.
Accenting this fine center stone are 30 white diamonds weighing exactly .71 cts. 8 round brilliant cut diamonds and 8 tapered baguette cut diamonds. The diamonds are very fine. They are all finely cut and match well in color and clarity. It is estimated that the diamonds are F/H in color (colorless to near colorless), and very slightly included to the first degree (VS1).
This platinum ring, weighing 13 grams, is made very well with a vegetative swirl like design on the underneath gallery. Engraved in the interior of the shank is pt for platinum, 900. The weights of the diamond and sapphire is also stamped in the interior. The ring is a size 9.5 and can be resized.
