About the Item

Old Poison Ring in solid 18K Yellow Gold with a hinged compartment on the crown. Hand- engraved Envelope pattern on top of the crown decorated with a bezel set rose cut Garnet stone Ø 2 mm . It shuts pretty tightly with a click and can only be lifted using a tip of the nail. Swedish hallmarks of maker , Goteborg, marked 18K. Year marks : H4 / handmade in 1838 . Poison compartment measures : 7.5 x 5.5 x 3 mm deep. Size: Ø 2.75 US / 13.83 mm. Sizing is possible up to US 7 or even US 8 for additional payment . Weight: 0.95 grams Used fine condition, tiny part on one the shoulder is missing ( can be repaired for additional ) tiny scratches and tarnish on Gold. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described. Unfortunately Internet sales do not allow us to see the items in person before we get them by post.
