18k Gold Cocktail Ring with Rutilated Quartz on Turquoise

Angelina Fine Jewelry was founded in 2013 by Angel van Willige. I was trained at the Vakschool in Schoonhoven, the Dutch traditional school for jewelers and metalsmiths. As a brand, Angelina Fine Jewelry specializes in handcrafted, one-of-a-kind jewelry set with precious gemstones in 18kt yellow gold, all made by me in my workshop using traditional goldsmithing techniques. Sometimes I use 22k or 24k gold, depending on the design, and sometimes blackened silver is added for contrast. The base for each piece is the gemstone (or coral or pearl) selected by me for its interesting cut or shape, vibrant color or exceptional lustre, and overall quality. To me quality does not necessarily equal perfection in terms of transparency or exact symmetry, as sometimes “flaws” such as inclusions or an odd shape can add mystery and intrigue to a gemstone. The temptation of carved gemstones and coral is something I cannot resist as well as Australian opals with plenty play-of-color. I am always looking for refreshing and unexpected color combinations and the perfect proportions. Like the wearer, every piece of my jewelry is unique and one-of-a-kind. Some are quietly understated, and some are distinctive statement pieces, but they all have an irresistible feminine appeal. My jewelry is worn by confident women with an individual taste which can be both fashionable and traditional but never dull.
