About the Item
An impressive vintage 1940s 1.26 carat diamond and 18 karat white gold, platinum set cocktail ring; part of our diverse diamond jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This fine and impressive 1940s diamond cocktail ring has been crafted in 18k white gold with a platinum setting.
The oval shaped, pierced decorated cluster design is ornamented with two feature transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds, a 0.25Ct and a 0.29Ct, claw set in subtle relief vertically to the centre of the arrangement.
The central feature diamonds are encircled by a further twelve pavé set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds.
The elevated ring shoulders are ornamented with an engraved scrolling decoration, integrating with the main setting and blending seamlessly with the plain ring shank.
The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the mark for 18k gold 750.
The setting of this impressive vintage cluster ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.
The ring is supplied with two independent diamond grading certificates for the feature diamonds in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone.
Condition
This impressive vintage 1940s cocktail ring is fine quality set with very high color graded, well color matched round cut diamonds. The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with a partially worn but legible hallmark to the interior of the sank.
