About the Item
A commanding 1950s Art-Deco inspired ring crafted in solid platinum, where vintage geometry meets luminous sparkle. At its heart sits an old-cut diamond (estimated ~0.60 carat) bezel-set within a square frame of calibrated rubies, the intense red providing a striking contrast to the icy white of the surrounding diamonds. The shoulders and top are densely pavé-set with brilliant diamonds, forming a sculpted “bombé” silhouette typical of mid-century elegance with a clear Deco influence. Weighing 9.7 grams, the ring feels substantial yet comfortable on the hand, making it equally suited as a dramatic cocktail piece or a distinctive heirloom engagement ring. Condition is very good for its age: the stones are secure and the platinum retains its bright, white finish with normal signs of gentle wear.
