1950s GIA 4.38ctw Natural Color-Change PURPLE Unheated Round Sapphire Diamond Platinum Cocktail Cluster Vintage Ring.
Better than a ballerina ring, in this marvelous marriage of sublime color and sparkle, gleaming icy-white baguette, 2 fancy kites, and sparkling round brilliant cut diamonds embrace a gorgeous, gleaming, incredibly rare gem: 1.32ct carat Natural Bright Color-Change Deep Purple to Violetish Blue Round Sapphire. Measuring 7.24x7.36x3.79mm, bearing recent GIA Certificate stating: Natural Sapphire, exceptionally Clear with no visible imperfections, Not Treated or Heated, GIA # 5231509689. Purple Sapphires do not disappoint! Purple Sapphires are quite extraordinary and far rarer than the more traditionally recognized blue sapphires, and are able to naturally change/shift color in different lighting.
Highly collectible and sought after.
The artfully sculpted, multidimensional mounting combines baguette, kites, and round diamonds for a brilliant Cluster effect in this stunning mid-century cocktail ring, totaling approx. 3.06 carats, F-G-H in color VS clarity overall.
This is a truly remarkable and unforgettable estate diamond ring created in Platinum ( tested).
Mid-Century glamour and flash are on full display in this fabulous jewel. We estimate the vintage of this ring to be from the 1940s through the 1950s.
This spectacular showstopper, measuring 18.89x19.32mm and can be worn as an alternative to a traditional Engagement ring, anniversary or as a right hand, dinner ring!
A split shank tappers from 5.35mm to 1.80mm on the bottom.
This dramatic and dynamic, uniquely fabulous vintage ring explodes in a blaze of sparkles and color, sits just right from the top of the finger (low to medium for your comfort- 7.70mm including the Center, which is a bit higher than the sides).
Finger size is 6 1/2, easy to re-size, the weight is 11.09grams, nice and Solid.

Condition: The ring is in great vintage condition. Overall light wear commensurate with age and use. All diamonds are present and appear original, the sapphire is in great condition with minor sign of wear. Very little wear to the setting in the form of minor abrasions and knicks to the metals, no apparent sign of repair to the mount. The ring has being cleaned.
