About the Item
24 Karat Diamond Emerald Enamel Ring. This unique Kundan ring features an oval emerald cabochon at the center with eight Indian-cut/Polki diamonds and enamel accents. There are enamel accents of green and blue on the sides and on the top of the band. The under gallery features a beautiful red enamel flower with a light blue center and dark blue frame. The ring size is 8 1/2. The total gold weight of the ring is 7.3 grams.
Polki was introduced in India by the Moghuls, mined diamonds are given a basic cut and polish and an enameling technique known as Meenakari is added to complete the piece.
Kundan jewelry is made of refined 24 karat gold, gemstones, and glass.
