Absolutely magnificent tanzanite and diamond ring. The brilliant blue stone against the bright white diamonds really catches the viewers eye while the sizeable stone fills the finger with sparkle. The impressive 7.50 carat prong set rectangular dome step cut tanzanite stone sits at the very center of the piece, demanding the viewers attention. It is a gorgeous, transparent violetish-blue color. Flanking the main stone are 2 triangular shaped clusters of pave diamonds totaling 1.20 carats. The natural diamonds are G-H in color, VS-SI in clarity, and the platinum setting really enhances the white brilliance of the stones. The band is plain and polished, with a slightly squared finish.
This is an estate ring that has been professionally cleaned and polished. It is in overall good estate condition. There is some slight surface wear on the metal as well as a few tiny scratches on the main stone, visible with a 10x loupe.
