This stunning, fine and impressive antique gemstone ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with a platinum setting.
The substantial pierced decorated frame features an impressive Old European round cut diamond, claw set to the center of the circular design.
This feature diamond is encircled by six stunning round faceted cut demantoid garnets*, totalling 0.70Cts.
The scalloped outer circumference of the cluster design is embellished with twenty-five claw set eight cut diamonds, completing design.
The pierced decorated, elevated shoulders blend seamlessly to the plain yellow gold shank.
The shank is embellished to the interior with the contemporary engraved inscription '1st Sep 1911'.
This garnet and diamond ring in yellow gold has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 karat gold and platinum.

Museum Quality antique late 18th / early 19th century chrysolite chrysoberyl pendant drop earrings in silver and rose gold, probably Portugal, circa 1800. Of elongated and slightly exaggerated outline typical of the period, this design complimented the high hairstyles of the 18th century and would be the perfect jewel for a special event nowadays. Each earring of an openwork design with a navette-shape cluster top suspending a partially-articulated drop-shaped section with floral and foliate motifs and rose gold beading, set throughout with circular, marquise, cushion and calibre cut chrysoberyl stones close-set in silver. These jewels are secured to the top with a lever-back fitting, consistent with the period.
Dimensions: 2.6 x 7.2 cm. Gross weight: 26.52g.

Museum quality antique 18th century chrysolite chrysoberyl pendeloque pendant earrings, Portugal, circa 1770. Each earring of an openwork design with a navette shape cluster top suspending a ribbon-tied bow terminal from which hangs an elongated drop-shaped cluster, pave- and collet-set throughout with circular, marquise, cushion and calibre cut yellowish-green chrysoberyl stones close-set in silver. These earrings are secured to reverse with a lever-back fitting consistent with Portuguese jewels of this period.
Later Porto assay mark “old man’s head” (used 1884-1984) for antique artefacts. Dimensions: 7.9 x 2.6 cm. Gross weight: 37.26g.

Antique 19th Century Old Mine-cut diamond floral cluster cocktail ring in silver and yellow gold, Europe, circa 1880s. This antique jewel is modelled as a scalloped flower, with a wide and bold circular design with scalloped borders, this ring features a larger Old Mine-cut diamond in a step-down collet setting surrounded by two rows of 32 similarly-cut pave-set diamonds, all stones in closed-back silver; the closed-back collet attaches to a later D-shape shank in yellow gold with raised shoulders, which can be removed. This dress ring features extremely fiery stones which are ready to sparkle day and night and is sure to make an extraordinary conversation starter!
Diamonds: estimated 6.40 carats in total; main diamond estimated 1.20 carats, G/H color (assessed), VS1 clarity (assessed); remaining diamonds estimated 5.20 carats in total.
