About the Item
This is a gorgeous Belle Epoque - Victorian Bohemian Garnet Ring with four tiers of round faceted Garnets of great beauty. The garnets are set in "garnet gold" which is silver gilt and was the custom of the period. The ring shank is 14 Karat Yellow Gold. The Garnets have exquisite blood red color, wonderful clarity, a sensual shape and great impact. The blood red garnets create a passionate magnificent jewel. The ring dates to the Napoleon III - Belle Epoque periods, circa 1840-1900.
The top of the ring is 1 1/8 inches (25mm) wide. It is 11mm deep.
The ring is currently a size 7.5 US (P UK) and can be easily resized if desired.
The ring shank is 14 Karat Gold.
