About the Item
Vivid and romantic, this ruby and diamond ring was created by thoughtfully upcycling antique stones from a damaged Victorian bracelet. At its center glows a 0.37ct cushion-cut ruby of striking vivid purplish-red color, secured in a finely detailed 14k gold crimped collet setting.
Flanking the ruby are two antique rose-cut diamonds, their soft sparkle set in silver-topped bezels, a traditional detail that enhances their brilliance. Together, the stones evoke the craftsmanship and sentiment of the 19th century, reimagined in a modern yet historically grounded jewel.
The ring weighs 1.03 grams, is currently a size 5.5, and may be resized for an additional charge. It remains in very good condition, with the antique stones carefully preserved and securely mounted.
The gold and silver settings, along with the ruby and diamonds, have been professionally verified through X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis, jeweler’s acid testing, and gemstone assessment, confirming authenticity and quality.
