A fine and impressive black onyx and 0.40 carat diamond (total), 18 karat yellow gold cocktail ring with 18 karat white gold settings; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This fine and impressive antique diamond and onyx cocktail ring has been crafted 18k yellow gold.
The pierced decorated rectangular, 18k white gold, cut cornered mount is ornamented with a black onyx panel ornamented with five, well colour matched, bezel set Old European round cut diamonds bezel set in white gold.
The bezel settings and main border around the onyx are accented with subtle millegrain decoration.
The tri-stranded ring shoulders are decorated with a simple cuff design junction with the plain 18k yellow gold ring shank hallmarked to the interior with the 18k guarantee mark (18k).
Due to the design of this unusual and versatile ring, it may be worn by either ladies or gents.
The ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Condition
This impressive 1930s cocktail ring is fine quality set with five very high color graded old cut diamonds. The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition. The hallmark to the interior of the shank is worn in keeping with age, but remains legible.
