Look at this celestial wonder, a truly beautiful and unique 18ct gold star ring.
This is just a magnificent piece, originally this would have been a brooch made in the late Victorian era, turn of the century, it has been later converted into a ring and mounted to an 18ct yellow gold shank with a smooth polished band.
The creamy split pearls are so lustrous and silky.
The pearls are mounted in a cluster that fills the rich golden star mount with a prominent pearl to the centre.
Stars are a highly sought after theme in antique jewellery and the Victorian's had so much hidden meaning in the beautiful jewellery creations of the era, stars are historically thought to provide divine guidance and spiritual strength to the wearer, a guiding light in the midst of life.
