About the Item
A fine antique Art Deco ring.
In 18k white and yellow gold.
By the Art Deco period jewelers Baskin Bros. of New York, New York.
Bezel set with a large round-cut amethyst to its center.
The ornate white gold filigree setting has flower and leaf work throughout as well as two "lovebirds" to its shoulders and a yellow gold bow to the front of the setting.
Simply wonderful Art Deco design!

Overall Condition:
It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
The ring was resized at one point in the past (which partly obliterated the maker's mark), and there is some very light scratching and fritting to the head of the gemstone. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some fine and light surface scratches, and other signs of light wear consistent with age.

Marked 18k for gold fineness.
Marks:
A partial conjoined BB mark and a partial 18k to the interior of the ring.
