Antique 19th Century Victorian Fede ring featuring a trio of a ruby, diamond and an emerald. A Fede ring is a name for a ring featuring clasped hands symbolizing love, friendship or betrothal. Such a design goes back to Roman times. The Irish calls such a ring a Claddagh ring. This particular one is quite gemmy featuring a cluster of a diamond, a ruby and an emerald. Such stones could represent love, friendship and matrimony. This ring is made in 18k yellow gold and even the hands holding the trio of stones has small gems on the finger. Truly a romantic and sentimental piece of jewelry with meaning steeped in history. This ring is a size 6 and can be sized.
