RARE GORGEOS ANTIQUE VINTAGE ART DECO BLACK and WHITE ONYX RING in PLATINUM
Onyx, mostly common in Black color, has been an object used for jewelry for centuries! When you have two stones or two different colors in one piece of jewelry, presented in opposite colors, we call it “day and night “. Common in pearls of light and dark colors as well. This design gained popularity in Jazzy Art Deco Era.
This fabulous Platinum (tested) ring contains both Black and White Onyx in Trillion shape. Both Onyxes measure approximately 10.20x10.39x3.65mm each (as mounting permits). Which means that together they weigh about 4ct. Beautiful spready stones! Perfect for every day, every outfit and certainly for the night out! Each Onyx is masterfully set into a handcrafted double bead bezel setting. Not your average mass-produced piece of jewelry!
The weight of the ring is 7.60 grams. Nice and Solid. Finger size 6, can be re-sized. The width of the top of the ring (North to South) is 12.63 mm. West to East is 22.06 mm.
Very nice Vintage condition, consistent with age. Super minor scratches to the setting. Polished and ready to wear.
Comes in the gift box with an appraisal.
