A stunning, fine and impressive carved shell and 18 karat yellow gold cameo cocktail ring; part of our cameo jewellery collections.
This stunning, fine and impressive antique ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold.
The oval vintage (circa 1960) setting displays an impressive feature antique (circa 1800) carved shell cameo of Socrates' profile.
The elevated yellow gold shoulders conjoin with the ornate shank, embellished with an impressive rope twist decorated design to the anterior surface.
This impressive shell ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 karat gold.
Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone in this gold cameo ring.
Condition
This antique gold cameo ring is excellent quality, set with an impressive carved shell cameo.
There is a visible surface line to either side of the setting where the piece has been previously sized; this does not affect the integrity of the ring.
The ring is an excellent gauge of gold and is in excellent condition.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this example of cameo jewellery.
