About the Item
A bold aqua ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this ring features a large 14ct emerald cut aqua. The aqua is held within a smooth and simple bezel-setting, and displays an incredible pale blue hue. The aqua is surrounded by an incredible frame, which is decorated with vivid green, black, and royal blue enameling. The enameling incorporates "v" and "x" - motifs. Each shoulder of the ring features additional enameling, and 3 triangular shaped carvings. The remainder of the thick band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped with a "14K" purity mark, and a maker's mark which reads: "BL". An eye-catching piece, this ring would make an extraordinary addition to any Art Deco-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 8.5, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 4.25mm, and the centerpiece measures 3/4" tall and 3/4" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the aqua stone is intact and securely set. The enameling is intact and free from any major chips or cracks.
