About the Item
An Art Deco diamond and white gold ring, comprising one large old European cut diamond, eight smaller old European cut diamonds, and eighteen single cut diamonds, set in 18 karat white gold, to an 18 karat white gold band.
This statement Art Deco ring is set to the centre with a large old European cut diamond, held within a square shaped setting. The diamond is bright, white, and sparkly with wonderful clarity and colour. The central diamond is flanked by a pair of diamonds, set vertically, in similar square shaped settings. These diamonds are bright, white, sparkly, and well-matched with one another. This central trilogy of diamonds is set above the rest of the ring and appears as if it is floating. At the top and bottom of the ring, 2 sets of 3 diamonds create a scalloped edge, leading to a line of single cut diamonds on each side, creating a geometric surround to the central diamonds. The ring is raised on a geometric gallery, allowing plenty of light to filter through and aid sparkle. The trifurcated shoulders lead to a plain, polished band of white gold. The ring is in great condition. Wear and tear acquiescent with age.
The head of the ring measures 26mm long, and 11.5mm wide, sitting 6mm off the hand. The band measures 2mm wide at the back.
