An Art Deco diamond and platinum ring, comprising one large old European cut diamond, two smaller old European cut diamonds, and twenty-six single cut diamonds, set in platinum, to a platinum band.
This statement Art Deco ring is set to the centre with a large old European cut diamond, held within a bezel setting. The diamond is bright, white, and sparkly with wonderful clarity and colour. The central diamond is flanked by a pair of smaller old European cut diamonds, set vertically, in similar millegrain-edged bezel settings. These diamonds are bright, white, sparkly, and well-matched with one another. This central trilogy of diamonds is set above the rest of the ring, appearing as if it is floating. The central diamonds are surrounded by a border of dazzling single cut diamonds, which create an elegant, scalloped edge. The shoulders of the ring are further set with glittering diamonds, which lead to a plain, polished band of platinum. The ring is in great condition. Wear and tear acquiescent with age.
The head of the ring measures 16.5mm long, and 8.7mm wide, sitting 4.7mm off the hand. The band measures 1.2mm wide at the back.
