About the Item
An American art deco ring with rubies.
This beautiful antique cocktail ring was created in America during the art deco period, back in the 1930. The ring is gorgeous and clearly scream art deco. It was carefully crafted with rectangular shape in solid .900/.999 platinum and embellished with a great selection of forty-seven earth mined natural gemstones, such; Burmese rubies and white colorless diamonds. The ring is designed in three little levels and the gemstones settings are finished with millegrain patterns.
Millegrain
This is a jewelry technique which refers to the textural effect of a close-set line of metal beads that are typically used as a border on the edges or bezels of jewelry.
Diamond: Mount in the center in a millegrain bezel setting, with 4 well matched French carre squared cut diamonds, with a weight of about 0.64 carats, white colorless E/F color, VS clarity.
Diamonds: Mount around the center in millegrain flush pave settings, with 32 European round cut diamonds, 0.75 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS/SI clarity.
Diamonds: Mount at the sides in bezel settings, with 2 matched baguette diamonds, 0.14 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS/SI clarity.
Rubies: Mount in a channel millegrain settings, with 22 calibre French cut of natural Burmese red rubies, with a weight of about 1.54 carats.
Birthstone: Rubies for the month of July.
Weight: 7.55 Grams, (4.85 Dwt).
Size: 7 and may be easily resized up or down on special request.
Measurements: 19 mm by 21 mm (0.75 x 0.83 Inches) and raise 6mm over the finger.
Hallmarks: Unmarked, the ring was electronically tested for platinum.
Collateral: This art-deco cocktail ring is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this art-deco ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the platinum. The 60 gemstones are secured in their settings. This ring has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
