An art deco skyscraper cocktail ring with aquamarine. This is an outstanding cocktail ring created in America during the Art Deco period, back in the 1930. The ring has been carefully crafted with skyscraper geometric patterns in solid platinum with polished finish. It is embellished in the center with one gorgeous translucent Brazilian blue aquamarine and accented at the sides with a great selection thirty-six earth mined natural gemstones, such white colorless diamonds and blue sapphires. The design of this ring is very typical of the Art Deco period, which usually were manufactured in New York City, imitating the geometry of its buildings. The total combined weight of all gemstones is 13.85 carats. Skyscraper Jewelry This term likely refers to jewelry pieces that are designed to resemble or incorporate architectural elements of tall buildings, particularly skyscrapers. These pieces may be crafted to mimic the architectural features of skyscrapers, like their sleek lines, glass facades, or distinctive shapes. Aquamarine: Mount on top in four cornered-prongs setting, with 1 emerald step cut (26 x 10 x 7 mm) of a natural translucent blue aquamarine with a weight of about 12.25 carats, (The aquamarine weight is calculated by formula). Sapphires: Mounted in Mille-grain channel settings, with 22 calibrated French baguettes cut of natural blue sapphires, with a total weight of about 1.32 carats. Diamonds: Mounted in flush settings, with 14 well matched round brilliant cut of natural diamonds, with a weight of about 0.28 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS clarity. Birthstone: Aquamarine for the month of March and sapphires for September. Weight: 12.3 grams (7.90 Dwt). Size: 6.5 and may be resized up or down on special request. Measure: 27 mm by 21 mm (1.06 x 0.83 Inches) and raise 8 mm over the finger. Hallmarks: Unmarked as usual and electronically tested for 90% platinum and 10% iridium. Collateral: This Skyscraper art-deco cocktail ring is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
