About the Item
An Art Deco diamond ring in white gold, comprising one large, brilliant cut diamond, flanked by two old cut diamonds and set with a further twelve round cut diamonds, to a raised openwork gallery, on a plain polished band of fourteen karat white gold.
The principal brilliant diamond is large, bright and sparkly, raised above the rest of the gallery to allow maximum light to pass through the diamond. The principal diamond is estimated SI clarity. This diamond is flanked to the East and West by two smaller old cut diamonds, adding further scintillation to this huge statement ring. The head of the ring is studded with a further 10 glittering diamonds, creating an incredibly sparkly Art Deco piece (one small accent diamond slightly darker than the rest). The shoulders are each set with one diamond, finishing off this stunning piece perfectly. The gallery is raised with elegant openwork, classic of the Art Deco period and the head of the ring is decorated with engraving and beading. The ring is in great condition. Wear and tear acquiescent with age.
The head of the ring measures approximately 12mm long and 24mm wide. The band is just under 3mm wide at the back.
