About the Item
This unique antique piece was handcrafted sometime during the Art Deco design period ( 1920-1940 ). The center stone is a 1.95 carat Ceylon sapphire. Ceylon sapphires are exclusively sourced from the former Ceylon area, now Sri Lanka. Ceylon sapphires are most known for their bright hue that is lighter than the traditional deep blue sapphires of other origins. This Art Deco platinum ring features a unique sapphire as well as a very unique setting. The setting features approximately 0.50 carats of diamonds total combined weight and milgrain accents. This ring is currently a size 5.
