About the Item
Art Deco diamond and black enamel ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with a weight of 2.00 carats, decorated throughout with eighteen round old cut diamonds in open back grain and millegrain settings with a combined weight of 0.40 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.40 carats, to a bombé design featuring a hemispherical black enamelled bezel with a geometric openwork gallery and intricately pierced backholing, the raised tri-part shoulders flow down to a solid D-shaped shank, engraved on the inner '6.1.25'. Tested platinum, circa 1925. . UK size N 1/2, US size 6 3/4.
