About the Item
This exquisite antique piece was handcrafted sometime during the Art Deco design period ( 1920-1940 ). Dinner rings were a staple of the Art Deco era. They were usually worn for special occasions such as a fancy dinner or ball. They are often considered the glamorous predecessor to the equally stylish Mid century cocktail ring. This ring is 18k white gold and features exquisite hand engravings along with subtle filigree and glittering gemstones. This piece features 11 sparkling diamonds and has a total combined diamond weight of approximately 1.25 carats. The two small rubies on either side of the center diamond make for a charming and colorful accent. This antique dinner ring measures approximately 1
1/8 inches in length, Dinner rings are typically a bit long in length to show off many glittering gemstones along with intricate design elements. This ring is currently a size 4
1/2.
