An Art Deco platinum and 14 karat ring with diamonds and rubies. The ring is designed in a classic platinum-on-gold plaque motif, with the 3 larger diamonds architecturally framed by a middle halo of ruby, which is further accented with a ring of Old European-cut diamonds. The ring has 3 old European-cut diamonds with an approximate total weight of .60 carat, 34 rose-cut diamonds with an approximate weight of .34 carat and 25 calibre-cut rubies with an approximate total weight of .25 carat. The ring shank is later. Circa 1920's.
