Art Deco 1920's GIA 26.5ct Natural No-Heat Star Blue Sapphire Platinum Diamond Ring
This Antique ring has a Gorgeous Natural Unheated STAR SAPPHIRE, a high domed (a.k.a. sugarloaf), weighing in at approx. 26.5 carats that is presented with consummate Art Deco flair and sophistication in this striking cocktail ring dating back to the 1920s. Measurements are 15.60x12.72x11.80 mm. A big blue bauble to match your big blue eyes that reflects a Beautiful Large Star pattern under certain lighting conditions, as shown in some of the images! GIA certified as Natural Blue Star Sapphire with no evidence of Heat Treatment, GIA # 7235149631
The cornflower medium-blue gemstone is embraced on each side with a couple of steps of 2 bright white straight baguette diamonds surrounded by 18 old European-cut diamonds on the side of the ring shank, estimated total weight is 1.00ct. Diamonds are in G-H color, VS-SI clarity over all Handcrafted in platinum ( tested with traces of stamp), this impressive stunner evokes the flamboyant jewels of golden age screen goddesses!! Truly a Show stopper , but yet very wearable.
The height is 12.35mm.
The weight of the ring is 10.82grams, nice and solid.
The finger size is 6 1/2 (sizable).

Width at Bottom: 1.68mm

Given the ring's age and condition just very minor sign of wear on the mount, slight patina. The Star Sapphire is in good condition with a few small natural inclusions, no chips, no signs of wear visible. We think that it was staying in one family without being sold and re-sold due to the ring's condition.
