About the Item
An Art Deco ruby and diamond dress ring, the ring set with three baguette-cut diamonds, a baguette-cut diamond separating two rows of three calibre-cut rubies set in raised semi-circular mounts to either side, a line of calibre-cut rubies to top and bottom, the diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 0.80 carats, all set to a platinum mount with wide tapering shank, circa 1930, head measuring 1x2cm, finger size M, gross weight 6.4grams.
This ring is in very good condition. Unmarked, tested as platinum.
A bold and colourful dress ring. This piece features a geometric design typical of the Art Deco period in which it was made, with rows of glittering baguette-cut diamonds and calibre-cut rubies. The rubies are a deep and eye-catching hue of fuchsia red, which add a lovely contrast to the bright diamonds and platinum setting. This piece comes from the collection of Bentley
