This is an extraordinary antique Art Deco Amethyst 14 Karat Gold Ring with a stunning oval faceted natural Rose de France Amethyst of approximately 10.7 Carats in a gorgeous filigree open work flower motif setting in 14 Karat Gold. The monumental amethyst is 18mm by 14mm and is a stunning early antique gem with beautiful rose de France color and a radiant translucent hue. It is a very fine gem quality amethyst of great beauty. The design elements of the ring continue with a beautiful lattice work design around the gallery. The wonderful open lattice work design in 14 Karat Yellow Gold is the work of a master artisan. This is one of the most beautiful period Art Deco amethyst rings we have seen and is such a treasure with the combination of the gorgeous monumental amethyst and the exquisite gold work. The ring is a treasure to be worn and enjoyed and to be passed on for generations.
