About the Item
Celebrate the enduring romance of the Art Nouveau era with this exquisite antique ring, dating to circa 1910–1920. Crafted in 10k gold and showcasing a richly hued orange coral cabochon, the ring’s vibrant centerpiece is nestled within an ornate foliate mounting—an elegant nod to the period’s love of organic, nature-inspired forms.
Though unmarked, the gold has been professionally verified using both XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing to confirm its 10k purity.
The face of the ring measures approximately 0.6 inches from north to south by 0.4 inches wide, and it is currently a size 5. The ring can be resized for an additional charge. In very good antique condition, this piece displays only minor wear consistent with age; under magnification, small traces of adhesive are visible beneath the prongs—an unobtrusive remnant of its early 20th-century craftsmanship.
