An Austrian modernist geometric cocktail ring A statement geometric cocktail ring, created in Vienna Austria, back in the 1970. The ring has been crafted as a kind of toi et moi with modernist patterns in solid yellow gold of 14 karats with high polished finish. It is embellished with two very fine natural earth mined gemstones such: a very rare indicolite tourmaline and a rare pink tourmaline. The color combination and the translucence of the gemstones create a fabulous contrast with the gold. Diamonds: Mount in four-prongs settings, with 2 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, 0.20 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS-2 clarity. Pink Tourmaline: Mount in a bezel setting, with 1 rectangular step cut (23 x 7 x 5 mm) of a natural vivid pink tourmaline of about 12.18 carats. Pink Tourmaline Color is the most important quality factor for a pink tourmaline and is the primary driver of value. General rule is that as color saturation of a tourmaline increases, the value. Measurements: 20 mm by 23 mm (0.79 x 0.91 Inches) and raise 5 mm over the finger. Hallmarks: Stamped with Austrian Post 1946 marks for the city of Vienna (W), the mark for the assay of the gold and was electronically tested for 14kt gold, (.585/.999 Au). Collateral: This ring is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box. Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold.
