The Details...
This ring is created from silver. It is stamped 'SILVER' on the inside of the band. The ring features an oval, bezel set, Rose Quartz cabochon. Surrounding the cabochon and detailing the shoulders of the ring are floral designs. The ring is a UK size 'N 1/2'.
A Short History...
Although unsigned, this brooch can be attributed to the maker Bernard Instone due to its design and use of silver and a semi-precious stone. Born in Birmingham in 1891, Instone studied under the famous Arts and Crafts jeweller Arthur Gaskin and the influence of Arts and Crafts design can be seen in many of his pieces, such as this ring.
