About the Item
This 18k yellow gold emerald and diamond ring weighs a hefty 18.1 grams. Nice and sturdy, the ring has a center emerald weighing a client stated 5.03 carats (by formula it measures to be 5.22 carats). The emerald is faceted in a cut cornered, squared emerald cut and is securely set in a bezel setting. The stone has a rich, dark green color with lots of fire and translucency, with minor inclusions commonly found in emeralds. A pretty stone, very fiery and a very translucent stone for such a dark color. The emerald is of Colombian origin, very rare and a very nice color, highly coveted. A fine emerald with a dark color. It is is surrounded by 24 round diamonds, carefully prong set in in front of and behind the emerald. The ring has 36 asscher cut diamonds, channel set and flanking down the shoulders as well. All of the diamonds are very fine, graded to be F-G in color and VS1-SI1 in clarity with lots of brilliance and fire. The diamonds combine to weigh 3.22 carats (calculated by formula). A beautifully made ring. The ring's head measures 15.5 mm long and rises an impressive 9 mm above the finger for a very large and showy look. Guaranteed to be a conversation starter and an eye catcher. The ring comes with a GIA report, report number 1232467193 (the physical GIA report will accompany the ring). The ring comes as a size 9 and has sizing balls in the shank, it can be sized by a skilled jeweler.
