The substantial 18K yellow gold setting is a stylized city skyline composed of gold skyscrapers topped by the citrine gemstone.
Historically, citrines have been revered since ancient times as talismans which could manifest desires, especially prosperity. The gemstone was used by the ancient Greeks and Romans in intaglio carvings and was highly prized for its beautiful amber color and durability. It is often mistaken for topaz and is an attractive alternative for yellow sapphires.
