About the Item
This 1970's cocktail ring came to us from a customer who wanted its original diamonds used for a custom project (with the gold mounting to be scrapped toward the final price). We loved the groovy setting too much to consign it to the melting pot and decided it would make a great home for three of our emeralds -- gorgeous, 0.60 carat ovals with sparkly light-bright green color and natural inclusions.
The stones are prong-set in the center of a 14 karat yellow gold swirl that forms a graceful dome over the finger.
The ring is large and dramatic with a face height of about 7/8." The rounded band is just under 3mm wide and just over 1mm thick. The front elevation is about 10.5mm.
According to the mandrel, this ring is a size 6.5, but it fits like a 7. We will resize up or down by up to two sizes at no charge for full price buyers. Let us know if you need resizing outside of this range; nothing's impossible!
The inside of the band bears an unknown and illegible maker's mark (see photo) plus a "14K" purity mark.
