About the Item
Ring in 18 karat white gold, eagle head hallmark.
A truthful illustration of the size of diamonds, this splendid white gold ring is a modern creation. It is composed of an upper central bed featuring square princess cut diamonds in invisible settings. This technique was invented in the 1930s by the Van Cleef and Arpel jewellery houses and serves to enhance the alignment and pattern formed by the gemstones without the distraction of visible settings. These diamonds are thereby displayed in all their brilliance without the visual distraction of metal.
The princess diamonds provide this ring with a completely flat upper surface. The profiles and sides of the ring band are set with brilliant cut small round diamonds, each with its own small round claw setting.
Total diamond weight: 2.65 carats approximately.
Height: approx. 11.2 g, width: approx. 14.3 mm, thickness: approx. 6 mm, width of the ring at the base: approx. 4.2 mm.
