About the Item
This large and very impressive ladies cocktail ring was created almost entirely by the hand of a gifted craftsman at the mid-point of the 20th Century. An enormous Lapis-Lazuli cabochon, measuring approximately 24mm long by 15mm wide by 12mm high is set at the center of the ring and sits atop a base of hand pulled and detailed 18k yellow gold wire. Six round brilliant cut diamonds flank the huge lapis cabochon on each side. The twelve diamonds weigh approximately .60ct total of overall H color and VS2-SI1 clarity. This amazing ring is truly a statement piece. The design area measures a full 1 3/8 inches by 1 1/8 inch making this ring truly "monumental" in size, as the title suggests. The ring is stamped 18k and bears a partially obscured makers marks. Ring size is 7 1/4. Gross weight 27.90 grams.
