Introducing the Cherry Blossom Lavender Jadeite Donut Ring, as intricate and precious as nature. Each one-of-a-kind Type A Jadeite ring is framed with luxurious 14kt solid rose gold and white gold petals and embellished with splendid colored gemstones.
Lavender Jadeite is a very rare color in jadeite jade because it needs the trace elements of vanadium and manganese to produce the violet, purple-lavender color in the crystal structure of the jadeite makes it lavender in color. Vanadium is considered extremely rare in the areas of Burma where Jadeite is found, and for it to naturally exist in sufficient quantities to produce the lavender color is one of the reasons this color is just so rare to find in any real saturation.

TYPE OF JADEITE
Type A Jadeite – Natural form
We consider this as the only accepted form that jadeite should be. Type A natural jadeite means the subject qualifies to be free of any chemical treatment. As part of the polishing process, coating the jadeite with colorless wax is accepted so long as it does not damage the crystalline structure of the subject. After fine polishing, the jadeite item is dipped in heated wax of liquid form, and once cooled down, it is buffed to give a smooth lustrous look, much like the process of car waxing.
Type B Jadeite – Chemically treated and resin infused
Type B jadeite means that the subject has been soaked in acid, which removes impurities or oxidation stains, producing a “bleaching” effect. This process lightens the color of many materials, including jadeite, and leaves many holes or micro craters inside throughout the subject. Next, it is placed into a vacuum chamber where polymer resins are infused into it, and after the final polish, the treated jadeite looks smooth and lustrous in color. Unfortunately, the appearance of Type B jadeite can change and deteriorate over time. The polymer resin can discolor and oxidize when exposed to heat and sunlight and turn yellowish.
Type C Jadeite – Dyed coloring
Typically, type C jadeite has undergone all type B treatments and dyed coloring added to the polymer resin to produce an enhanced or additional coloring effect. Certain jade collectors look for jadeite items in three colors: green, white, orange, or purple.

4. Remember that with jewelry, it should always be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off.
