About the Item
An old Latin American legend relates the story of an Indian maiden who fell in love with the moon. She was pining away with grief over this unattainable love until a benevolent spirit turned her into a water lily. Serenely dreaming during the daylight hours, she blooms with delight at the rise of the moon and quietly closes at the first hint of dawn. This exquisite ring will let you tell your own version of the legend. Created in 14k white gold, the ring features a genuine purple spinel of 4.66 carat weight. The round-cut spinel is mounted in a double bezel of gleaming white gold and ported from the underside so that light flows freely through the faceted stone to accentuate its radiance and sparkle. Artistically-detailed water lilies crafted in ribbed, textured, and polished white gold surround the spinel and flow onto the shoulders of the ring as they taper into a sturdy shank. Smoothly polished on both the interior and exterior surfaces, the shank is contoured to ensure a comfortable fit. A 14k stamp inside the band verifies the ring's gold purity composition. Not just for the moonstruck, this beautiful ring would make a wonderful treat for yourself or an enchanting gift for a special someone.
This ring weighs 8.8 grams. The face measures 1/2"(12.5mm) tall, and it has a table height of 3/8" (9.5mm).
