One of a Kind Ring handmade by acclaimed jewelry maker Petra Class featuring three matched rough green tourmaline crystals individually bezel-set in the artist's signature 22k yellow gold and accented with a round brilliant-cut white diamond center atop an open tapered 18k yellow gold double band. Stamped and Hallmarked 18k / 22k / PC . Size 6.0 US (can be sized).
About the Maker - Petra Class acquired her jewelry training in Germany. She spent several years creating tableware, and her approach to her craft is strongly influenced by the European tradition of applied art. Petra’s jewelry is infinitely wearable, communicating her own sensibilities and a contemporary aesthetic. Petra's work reflects definite themes: the rhythmical arrangements of multiple elements; repetition of similar forms or colors; the unexpected contrasts of differently textured materials. She is endlessly fascinated with all types of gemstones and the variety of colors that they produce, and the use of these stones in her pieces evokes thoughts of paintings. Through her choice of colors and textures, Petra's jewelry communicates a variety of moods - an improvisational jazz melody, an abstract landscape, an attitude towards life - that is sensed by whoever is lucky enough to be wearing one of her pieces.
